Inclusive Leadership and Wellbeing Workshop

The Inclusive Leadership and Wellbeing workshop is aimed at fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment while prioritising the overall wellbeing of diverse business owners and their employees. It is vital to recognise the significance of diverse perspectives and the link between employer wellbeing and organisational success.

The workshop will focus on implementing strategies that promote inclusive leadership practices to enhance the overall psychological wellbeing of business owners and entrepreneurs. The workshop is designed to create awareness, promote, and educate small business owners who are the forefront leaders of their organisations on the importance of sound mental health.

This event is being facilitated by:
Tamara Seif - Gravitas Consulting
Possible Diessa – Possible Consulting

Four Topics to be covered

  • Leadership and Health Management: This topic will equip business leaders with effective leadership strategies and health management techniques that will drive growth and success within organisations.

  • Stress Management: In this topic, we will dive into the significance of stress management in the workplace. This interactive session and consultation will offer practical tools and coping mechanisms to handle stress effectively and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

  • Mental Health Awareness: Mental health is a vital aspect of overall wellbeing. This topic will foster a culture of understanding, empathy, and support surrounding mental health issues in the workplace. Nearly 25% of Australian workers take an average of 50 hours off work per year due to depression. That absenteeism increases to an average of 138 hours for the 8% of Australian workers who suffer from moderate to severe depression. When people experience anxiety or depression, everyday tasks can appear overwhelming.

  • Physical Health: Physical health plays a critical role in productivity and overall wellbeing. This topic will cover wellness challenges, fitness activities, and health education to promote healthier lifestyles. Work disability and unemployment are harmful to physical and mental health and wellbeing. The psychological problems of being away from work may have consequences associated with physical health due to uptake of negative lifestyle choices such as smoking, harmful alcohol consumption and drug use.
